About Nell's Farm House

Nestled on an old cotton farm, Nell's House lets you escape the day-to-day rat race and provides you with a memorable country experience.

In the upper end of the county in Metcalfe, is the Lawndale Historical Museum where you can see the “Lawndale Dummy,” a private railway that ran between Shelby and Lawndale and located at the old Metcalfe Store.

The vintage home consists of two nice-size bedrooms with double bed and one king bed and a third bedroom with bunk beds for the children. There is a television with basic cable in the cozy den. The eat-in-kitchen contains all cookware, utensils and kitchenware, and all linens and towels are supplied. There is a large, centrally located bath with double vanity and tub with shower.

However, the greatest amenities are outside the home as it is situated on a dirt road just a short turn off the main road in a quiet community with a large deck off the kitchen, presenting pictorial views of woods and pastures where horses quietly graze.

Nell Metcalfe's dedication to her house shines through staying at Nell's House is a truly memorable and fun experience.

The Metcalfe's take pride in taking excellent care of their guests and making them feel at home from the first moment they step into the home.
